BAL SAHITYA MAHOTSAV 2016

The second year of Bal Sahitya Mahotsav took place on February 6-7, 2016. Sponsored by the Rato Bangala Group of Institutions (Rato Bangala School, Rato Bangala Foundation, and Rato Bangala Kitab), the festival took place at the Rato Bangala School in Patan Dhoka in Lalitpur. The first day was devoted to children's workshops, while the second day's activities focused on training teachers in how to plan children's literature festivals in their own districts. This year, BSM collaborated with educators, writers, and publishers to provide relevant and engaging literary experiences for children ages 3-16.

Organized by Rato Bangala School, Rato Bangala Foundation, and Rato Bangala Kitab in conjunction with other partners, Bal Sahitya Mahotsav (BSM) is the first ever bi-annual children's literature festival in Nepal. "
