Every year, BSM and Rato Bangala School sponsor a short story contest for students in grades 7-10. Schools are invited to nominate two students for each category (gr. 7-8 and gr. 9-10). RBS students participate in a separate contest. On the day of the competition, students are given two hours to write a short story stemming from one of 4-5 prompts. Three winners (or more, in the case of a tie) from RBS contest and from the inter-school contest are selected for each category and the winners are announced on the first day of the BSM festival (Feb. 10, 2018).
Inter-school competition:
Students are invited to participate in our short story contest to be held on Dec. 10, 2017 at 11am at Rato Bangala School.

Intra-school competition:
The date for the RBS short story contest will be announced shortly.
